What is 1 Utama City Car Park Cardless Parking?

  • Enter and exit hassle-free with our LPR system that recognizes your vehicle''s license plate — no ONECARD needed!
  • This parking facility is available exclusively to valid ONECARD members aged 17 and above.
  • Each ONECARD Member can register up to a maximum of TWO (2) vehicle numbers via the 1 Utama SuperApp.
  • Once registered and activated for LPR, Car Park Credits (if any) in ONECARD will be merged with your 1PAY balance.
  • Parking fees will be auto-deducted from your 1PAY e-Wallet linked to your registered vehicle(s).
  • No minimum balance is needed to enter the car park, just make sure you have sufficient balance in your 1PAY e-Wallet to exit smoothly.

  1. What is 1 Utama City Car Park Cardless Parking – License Plate Recognition (LPR) Parking System 1 Utama?
    • License Plate Recognition (LPR) is an image-processing technology used to identify vehicles by their license plates to enter or exit car park.
  2. Where can I use LPR Parking at 1 Utama?
    • LPR Parking is available at 1 Utama Shopping Centre & Dataran Car Park “1 Utama City Car Park”.
  3. Who is eligible to use the LPR facility?
    • ONECARD members aged 17 and above who have activated their 1PAY e-Wallet are eligible to register for LPR in the 1 Utama SuperApp.
  4. How do I register my vehicle number for LPR?
    • Step 1: Register your vehicle number via the 1 Utama SuperApp under the LPR icon inside the Park section.
    • Step 2: Your vehicle number will be linked to your ONECARD account.
  5. Do I still need to tap my ONECARD at the reader if I’ve registered my vehicle in the 1 Utama SuperApp?
    • No - once your vehicle number is registered in the 1 Utama SuperApp, the system will automatically detect your vehicle at both entry and exit points; tapping your ONECARD will no longer be required. Parking fees will be auto-deducted from your 1PAY balance.
    • Please note that the ONECARD reader at the entry and exit will be discontinued in due course. Members who have not registered their vehicle number by that time will be charged the non-ONECARD rate.
  6. What should I do when I have yet to register my vehicle number and ONECARD reader has been removed?
    • You can still enter the mall parking via the LPR system. Download the 1 Utama SuperApp, register your vehicle number, and ensure you have sufficient 1PAY balance before exiting to enjoy the ONECARD parking rates.
  7. How many vehicles number can I register?
    • A maximum of TWO (2) vehicles can be registered under one account.
    • Each registration, add or edit of vehicle number requires you to enter your payment PIN for security purposes.
  8. What will happen to my current Car Park Credits after registering my vehicle number to my account?
    • Current Car Park Credit balance (if any) will be merged with your 1PAY e-Wallet balance. Please check your 1PAY transaction history for the record.
  9. Where can I check my parking payment history?
    • You can check your parking payment history in the 1 Utama SuperApp under the Park icon.
  10. I have registered two cars in my ONECARD account. Can both cars enter 1 Utama City Car Park and enjoy ONECARD rate at the same time?
    • Yes — both entries will be recognized as your cars and parking charges will be deducted accordingly from your 1PAY e-Wallet.
  11. Can I register or edit my vehicle number after I have entered the car park?
    • Registering: Yes — you can register your vehicle number in the 1 Utama SuperApp before you exit to enjoy ONECARD parking rate if you have not registered your car.
    • Editing/Delete: No — you are unable to edit/delete the vehicle number for the car that has already entered 1 Utama if you had registered it earlier.
  12. How often can I edit or change my registered cars?
    • There is no restriction on the number of times you can edit or change the vehicle number, but it is subject to the Operator's discretion from time to time.
  13. How do I enter ONECARD Preferred Parking (OPP)?
    • You must register your vehicle number before entering OPP. Simply drive through the Preferred Parking entrance to gain access — the boom gate will automatically open for you.
    • Charges will be auto-applied and deducted accordingly from your 1PAY balance upon exit.
  14. Do I need to have minimum credit on my 1PAY e-Wallet to enter?
    • No — the system allows vehicles to enter the carpark and a push notification reminder will be sent to prompt you to top up your 1PAY e-Wallet if your balance is low before exiting.
  15. Do I earn UPoints automatically when I pay parking charges with 1PAY via 1 Utama SuperApp?
    • No — ONECARD UPoints will not be awarded for parking charges unless specified for specific promotional campaigns (if any).
  16. Possible reasons that exit is denied and actions to be taken:

    1PAY insufficient balance Top up 1PAY immediately
    The car that you drive today is not registered and linked to your ONECARD Account Register the car in 1 Utama SuperApp
    OR
    Proceed to the nearest APS to make your payment, or pay online by scanning the QR code (ONECARD rates will still apply)

  17. The vehicle number that I’ve keyed in has been taken. What should I do?
    • Check if your family members have registered your vehicle number, or bring your latest supporting document to any Customer Service Centre to submit for application.

  20. How can I retrieve my e-receipt and submit for claim for e-invoices?
    • E-receipt is available in your parking transaction history.
    • E-invoice can be requested under the e-invoice icon or from parking transaction history via the 1 Utama SuperApp.
  21. What should I do if I register my vehicle number and it is scanned differently at the entry. Will I be charged as non-ONECARD parking rate?
    • Yes — the number scanned will not be recognized as registered vehicle number. Please report this matter to our Carpark Help Desk Office located at 4th Floor Highstreet (next to Bowling Centre) for further assistance.
