Eligibility
  1. You must be 18 years or older to be eligible to apply for the ONECARD. For applicants below 18 years of age, the application form must be signed by your parent or legal guardian.
  2. You are only eligible to apply for and hold one (1) valid ONECARD at any one time. The Operator reserves the right to reject additional or multiple applications if the Operator determines in its absolute discretion that the applications are made by the same person.
  3. You must apply fro the ONECARD in person by completing the application form and presenting your MyKad if you are a Malaysian citizen or such other personal identification as required by the Operator.
Use of ONECARD
  1. The ONECARD is valid for use at all ONECARD participating outlets (“Outlet”). A current list of Outlets is available at any 1 Utama Customer Service Centre or by logging on to www.onecard.com.my.
  2. You must present the ONECARD to the cashier of the Outlet at the time of purchase in order to earn and redeem UPoints and to receive the benefits and privileges that are on offer from time to time. The Outlet and Bandar Utama City Centre Sdn Bhd (“the Operator”), the manager of the ONECARD Programme, are not obliged to backdate any UPoints transactions.
  3. You must keep your ONECARD PIN confidential at all times and must not disclose your ONECARD PIN to anyone else.
Application fee
  1. An application fee of RM10.00 for a 1 year application or RM20.00 for a 3 year application is payable to the Operator upon submitting your application to become a ONECARD cardholder.
Earning and redeeming UPoints
  1. For every RM1.00 of the Total Invoice Value (rounded down to the nearest RM1.00) paid by you at an Outlet, you will earn 1 UPoint (“UPoint Earning Transaction”). The Total Invoice Value means the amount chargeable by the Outlet for a purchase at the Outlet after deduction for any discounts and rebates.
  2. 1 UPoint is worth RM0.01 that you can use to redeem against purchases made at any Outlet.
  3. You can redeem accumulated UPoints to partially or fully reduce the Total Invoice Value at any Outlet (“UPoint Redemption Transaction”). On a partial redemption, the remainder portion of the Total Invoice Value is payable by you to the Outlet in the ormal course of business and you will earn UPoints on the remainder portion.
  4. The Operator reserves the right to deduct UPoints, not to credit any UPoints earned or allow redemption of any UPoints if it determines in its sole and absolute discretion that the UPoints were earned or redeemed fraudulently or in error.
  5. The Operator reserves the right to suspend a transaction at any time without notice pending further proof of the transaction.
  6. UPoints cannot be redeemed for cash.
  7. The Operator and the Outlets may vary the value attached to each UPoint from time to time.
Redeeming for car parking credits
  1. You may redeem UPoints for car parking credits which can be used to reduce your car parking charges at designated 1 Utama car parks. The car parking credits will be electronically stored on your ONECARD. If your ONECARD is damaged, lost or stolen, the Operator is not obliged to replace the remainder credits that were on your ONECARD
  2. Car parking credits cannot be converted into cash nor UPoints.
  3. You must maintain a minimal balance of RM5.00 as car parking credits on your ONECARD in order to enter the designated 1 Utama car parks.
Gift cards
  1. You may redeem for and/or purchase a ONECARD as a gift for a third party at any 1 Utama Customer Service Centre by redeeming your UPoints or by paying cash or a combination of both. There must be a minimum balance of 1,000 UPoints credited to the account of the gift ONECARD. Purchases of gift cards are not refundable.
Refunds, void and offline transactions
  1. If an Outlet offers you a refund in relation to a sale or voids a sale transaction for which UPoints have been earned or redeemed by you, the Operator or the Outlet may, in its sole and absolute discretion, reverse in its entirety or partially the earning or redemption of the UPoints on your ONECARD.
  2. Where permitted by the Operator, an Outlet may perform an offline UPoint Earning Transaction. You will not be entitled to any UPoints earned during an offline transaction until verified and confirmed by the Operator.
UPoints balance
  1. You may check your UPoints balance by inquiring at any Outlet, at a 1 Utama Customer Service Centre or at a ONECARD kiosk or on the ONECARD website.
Validity
  1. The ONECARD is valid for 1 year or 3 years whichever is applicable from the date your application is accepted or from the date the card is renewed.
  2. The ONECARD can be renewed by presenting the card at a 1 Utama Customer Service Centre and paying the yearly renewal fee of RM10.00 for a 1 year renewal or RM20.00 for a 3 year renewal. This fee is not refundable.
  3. You will have a grace period of 1 month from the date of expiry of your ONECARD to renew after which your ONECARD will be cancelled and will not be renewable. During the grace period, you will not be able to earn nor redeem any UPoints. However the UPoints earned prior to the date of expiry will be suspended and reactivated upon renewal within the grace period.
  4. UPoints earned remain valid for redemption for so long as the ONECARD to which it relates remains valid.
  5. Upon expiry, revocation, cancellation or termination of the ONECARD, all UPoints earned but not redeemed and all remainder car park credits under the expired, revoked, cancelled or terminated card will be automatically forfeited and the Operator will not be liable for any compensation to the cardholder in relation to the forfeiture.
Lost, stolen or damaged cards
  1. A replacement fee of RM10.00 will be charged for replacement of lost, stolen or damaged cards. If your ONECARD has been lost, stolen or damaged, you must report the loss or damage to the 1 Utama Customer Service Centre or by calling the ONECARD Service Centre at (03) 7710 8118 as soon as reasonably practicable.
Card cancellation
  1. Prior to expiry, you may cancel your ONECARD at a 1 Utama Customer Service Centre by handing in your ONECARD and completing and signing the required form. Upon cancellation, all UPoints earned but not redeemed and all unused car park credits under your cancelled ONECARD will be forfeited and the Operator will not be liable for any compensation or to pay any refunds to the cardholder in relation to the forfeiture.
Disputed transactions
  1. If you wish to dispute a transaction in relation to the earning or redemption of UPoints, you must complete the relevant request form and submit with supporting written evidence at any 1 Utama Customer Service Centre.
Miscellaneous
  1. The ONECARD is not a credit card nor a charge card.
  2. The ONECARD is not transferable and the Operator and each Outlet reserves the right to request that you provide sufficient personal identification evidence.
  3. The ONECARD remains the property of the Operator and must be returned upon request.
  4. The Operator, its subsidiaries, related companies and its agents are authorised to use your personal information disclosed under the ONECARD Programme for its marketing and other related purposes.
  5. The Operator reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, without prior notice and at any time, to:
      a. reject any application for the ONECARD without having to provide reasons;
      b. revoke the ONECARD without having to provide reasons;
      c. to amend these terms and conditions from time to time; and
      d. suspend or terminate the ONECARD Programme without having to provide reasons.

  6. The Operator, its subsidiaries, related companies and its agents and the Outlets are not liable for any loss, damage, cost and expense incurred by you or any third party arising from the carrying out of the ONECARD Programme.
